The tour will be worldwild! In 2008 already, after Saint-Imier, Bern, Moutier and Saignelégier, it were Barcelona then Berlin. In 2009, Europe and Asia, and in 2010 the US and South America! Only that! And it is with the pooling of forces of Interjurassienne Association of the Arts centres (AICC) and the Abbét Basilic Choir (a project of the grouping of musicians of “La Bouillie d'Heidi”) that one owes this atypical and out of time creation : The Mess von Studer.
Imagine a mass for choir and keyboard, with a voice soloist. In Latin, tradition obliges. But which is caught very contemporary airs by its harmonies and the data-processing interventions on the sound diffusion that it proposes (it is not every day that Dolby Surround is invited in the churches…). An obviously written mass, but which allows a great part of improvised interventions as well for the musicians as for the choir. A mass which wants to be source of meeting since any person having taken part in one of its interpretations receives a badge allowing him to join any choral society working this mass, where that it is in the world.
There you have all the ingredients of a mass, way Christophe Studer, Swiss artist definitely very in form. The soloists of this vocal work follow one another, but it is the geneticist Albert Jacquard who brings his rethoric and humanistic key of excellence.
